QRM Specialist or QRM Professional?
One teaches you to run the risk process. The other teaches you to produce the number. Most people need both, in that order.
If you are being handed risk work and have never written a Risk Management Plan or run a workshop, start with Specialist. If your problem is that nobody believes your dates or your contingency, you need Professional.
Taking both is the usual route. The combined bundles cover the whole journey from £549 and end on the QRMCert. pathway.

Questions we are asked most.
Which programme should I start with?
If you are already doing risk work and need the quantitative method, start with QRM Professional Training. If risk has just been handed to you and the process itself is unfamiliar, start with QRM Specialist. It is three live sessions of two hours from 7 September, £99 until 29 August, and it ends with a register you can actually quantify. If you want to test the approach before committing, start with the Quantification Readiness Standard at £5 and run it over the register you already have. It tells you where the gap is before you spend anything else.
Do I need a statistics background?
No. The programmes are built for planners, cost engineers and project controls professionals. Your schedule and cost data are the raw material the whole discipline is built on, and that is the starting point we teach from. Statistical concepts are introduced only where they change a decision.
Do I need to buy risk software?
No. The foundations courses and the quantitative risk register run entirely in Excel. QRM Professional Training includes 30 days of free Safran Risk access, and the Primavera Risk Analysis course includes a free training-version licence. You can complete the pathway without any procurement request.
Is the certification recognised?
The examination is accredited by the Institute of Qualified Risk Managers and leads to the QRMCert. designation. It evidences applied quantitative competence: building QSRA and QCRA models, interpreting confidence levels, identifying risk drivers and reporting to senior management. It is a specialist credential, not a general project management qualification.
My employer is paying. What do you need?
Email rs@iqrm.net with the programme, the number of seats and your company details. We issue a formal quotation on letterhead with scope, dates and deliverables, suitable for submission to procurement, a line manager or a training budget holder. Company invoicing and purchase orders are supported.
Can this be delivered to my project team?
Yes. In-house delivery runs on your own schedule and cost data, so the models built during the programme are models your team keeps and uses. Delivered onsite or online across the UK, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Contact rs@iqrm.net to scope it.
What if the programme is not right for me?
Courses carry a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Live programmes can be refunded in full after the first live session if the fit is wrong. The quantitative risk register workbook carries a 14-day refund.
How much time does it take?
QRM Specialist is three live sessions of two hours, 16:00 to 18:00 UK time, with recordings if you cannot attend live. Foundations courses run from 90 minutes to around three hours. QRM Professional Training is designed to be completed in four weeks alongside a full-time role, with ongoing access afterwards.
